How can I track my child's progress? Is there regular assessment?
Your child follows a tailored plan that advances progressively. Starting from foundational concepts, they steadily work towards their set objectives. Each week, new topics are introduced, building upon the previous week's learnings. Following the exploration of several topics, we conduct a comprehensive assessment and provide you with the results. This assessment outcome serves as a clear indicator of progress.
How is progress monitored?
Every student receives a personalized short- and long-term plan. After covering a few topics, we conduct assessments and address any identified gaps. Our dedicated data manager maintains records of assessment, attendance, and homework data. This information is processed into a report, which will be sent to you every three months.
How do you ensure my child retains the information taught?
After covering topics, we make it a point to revisit previously learned material to help ensure your child retains the information.
Do you have parent’s evenings to discuss student’s progress?
Yes, we hold parents' evenings for primary children every term and upon request for Secondary and A Level children. However, you have the option to book a meeting with us at any time, and you do not need to wait for a designated parents' evening.
How much homework will my child receive?
Your child can expect to receive homework at least once a week for each subject. This practice allows them the opportunity to reinforce and apply what they have learned during their lesson.
How long will my child require tutoring?
Each child progresses at their own unique pace, making it difficult to determine the exact duration of tutoring needed. During the free assessment, we'll discuss the recommended number of sessions per week for your child. While we use certain foundational benchmarks to provide estimates, the most crucial factor is consistent, high-quality support.
